These are unconventional conventional shampoo bars, and I'm so excited about finally being happy with them...happy enough to get them out into the world! These bars are made with candelilla wax rather than a conditioning wax that commonly comes from palm(that's the unconventional part). They are formulated with two natural surfactants(the sudsy, lather stuff) as well as avocado, rosehip, and grapeseed oils. Also in the mix- bentonite clay and marshmallow root, horsetail extract, and an essential oil blend including holy basil. And lastly, I added apple cider vinegar that I infused with rice and fenugreek seeds to help detangle and smooth. These bars are coconut oil-free*, soy-free, and palm-free! *the natural surfactants are made from coconuts
